Animal Liberation Kitchen is a local vegan spot that is inspired by animal rights and social justice. Their goal is to deliver a healthy and delicious alternative to meat without alienating any customers. Located on Broadview and Queen St E Avenue, this is a trendy spot for some delicious vegan food.
The store itself is not the biggest but still offers an inviting atmosphere with its large window walls which lets in tons of natural lights. Since this is more of a take-out spot, there isn’t much room to sit and dine here – however, they still offer seating areas if you do decide to dine in.
Their menu features many items you would typically find in a cafe like soups, sandwiches/wraps, vegan bowls, pastries, and coffees. One of their must-try menu items is their Smoky Mac and Cheese which takes a unique spin of the traditional mac and cheese featuring a cashew-based sauce, kimchi, and tofu bits.
You won’t have to be a vegan to enjoy the foods at Animal Liberation Kitchen, as everything is simply delicious and packed with flavours (plus it’s healthy too).
