This dish costs $12, but it’ll give you a very filling meal. The chicken is juicy, and since it has been marinated with yogurt and other spices, you’ll get a smokey earthy taste from the dish. Enjoy a hearty meal at this restaurant with a group of friends. You’ll get amazing meals out of this place. The price ranges from $10 – $18 at this restaurant, and have great options to choose from. This restaurant is beloved for its soup and noodle dishes. We recommend trying the hot and sour soup at this place. For $10.75, you’ll get a thick flavourful broth and crunch from the vegetables added for a complex flavour profile. Another favourite here is the Hakka Special Chow Mein Noodles. This dish is salty, sweet and savoury from the combination of sauces. The chicken and the shrimp added to the dish absorb these flavours well. If you’re looking for food with that umami flavour then Khao Hakka is the place to go. Their dishes are aromatic, salty and delicious. They serve everything from ramen to chicken wings and their price ranges from $11 – $14. A favourite dish here is the Szechuan Chicken. For $11.50, you’ll get a meat dish stir-fried with bell peppers and onions. The spicy-sweet flavour of this comes from minced garlic and sesame oil. The food at this restaurant is very reasonably priced; you won’t find such great offers often. The price ranges from $7.50 to $14. We recommend trying the spicy garlic shrimp here. It comes with fried rice and you get to choose between a drink or a vegetable spring roll. The shrimp is tender and sweet. The garlic in this dish brings out a nice aroma and mellows out the spices of this dish.

3) Royal Hakka Chinese Seafood Restaurant

This shop opened in 2003 and serves wonderful Hakka cuisine. The prices range from $6 – $14 at this restaurant. Plus, they have some great vegan options to choose from as well. We recommend trying the Butter Paneer. For $10.95, you get a dish with a tomato puree base cooked with fresh herbs, curry spices and cream. The paneer itself is soft and this unaged cheese is a great option for vegetarians. Wash it down with some fruity guava juice. You can easily taste the flavour with this drink.

This restaurant uses a mix of Nepali and Indian style cuisine to create their Hakka dishes. They also serve Thai dishes at this restaurant. There are so many dishes to choose from but we personally prefer the Biryani Chicken Fried rice. It has a nice fragrance from the spices and the rice is flavourful. This dish has the perfect combination of rice and meat. The robust flavour comes from many things including ginger, garlic, cardamom and more.

The founder and executive chef of this restaurant opened this restaurant with the hope of selling delicious and accommodating food. Not only do they have vegetarian options here, but they also have a lot of options when it comes to their seafood, meat, and appetizers. We recommend trying the lunch special, the Chicken Pad Thai. For $8.25, this delicious dish comes with a vegetable spring roll. This meal is salty, nutty and a little sweet from the sauces added. The chicken adds a nice bit of flavour to this dish.
