The interior of this restaurant is beautifully designed with a modern aesthetic but still with a traditional touch. On the exposed brick wall you can see a large Thai mural filled with traditional cultural symbols. The beams have their own modern, decorative design but are still original to the restaurant’s theme. The stylish bar sits in the center of this room, with TVs strategically placed on the walls to allow you a peek at sports scores or news.
Chiang Rai Thai Kitchen and Bar offers counter seating, booth seating and regular table seating within their intimate venue. They have a small patio outside which is perfect for summertime dining!

Their menu does not disappoint with the many authentic Thai dishes they offer. They also offer many vegetarian dishes.
A favourite here is the Pineapple Fried Rice. This fried rice is seasoned with Thai spices and scallions, topped with a sweet pineapple chunk, cashews, onions, and your choice of protein (chicken, beef, shrimp, tofu). The flavour is unlike any other, the sweetness of the pineapple complements the saltiness of the cashews. This fried rice is everything you could want in a classic Thai dish. The best part about this dish is that it’s served in a pineapple!

Khao Soi is another favourite here. This dish is a northern Thai curry noodle soup. It is made with egg noodles in a coconut curry broth, garnished with shallots, red onion, pickled cabbage and crispy noodles. The flavourful broth, hearty noodles and crisp garnishes make this a perfect dish to try on a cold day.

For drinks, you can’t go wrong with their Thai iced tea. It’s a perfect balance of sweet and creamy, made using a mix of real tea leaves and evaporated milk. It’s rich in tea flavour, which makes for a refreshing drink to cool off with on a hot day.
You can always rely on Chiang Rai Thai Kitchen and Bar to create a delicious meal. Not only is the food exceptional, but the service is amazing too. The staff are friendly and welcoming, making your dining experience all the more enjoyable!
