Glendora Park has a variety of activities available during the summer and winter seasons. If you love ice skating, the park has an ice rink that is built each year by volunteer local community groups using natural ice.
Another favourite feature of the park is the park playground, particularly the splash pad with a shaded seating area, which is well kept and perfect for your children to enjoy throughout the summer. The playground is in good shape, with slides, swings, and other necessary playground facilities, as well as cork ground to reduce the risk of children falling and injuries.
The park offers plenty of green areas, and the little hills are perfect for picnics and watching beautiful sunsets. The park is also quite beautiful in the summer, with trees and flowers such as daffodils, common lilacs, Water Forget Me Not, and many more.

Playing tennis is another enjoyable pastime at Glendora Park. The park includes two tennis courts that are in good condition and can be used day or night thanks to the night lights.
Parking

There are many paid parking lots around the park that will need you to walk a short distance to get there, including Green P, Parkway Sheppard Avenue Garage, and Parkway.
If you’re searching for a park in North York where you can go for a short stroll, play with your kids, or have a picnic beneath the stars, Glendora Park is a great option this summer.
