Camping season is here, so go get your tents and bug sprays ready. When the summer weather hits, nothing is better than being outdoors. And if you love camping, the Indian camping ground provides a large green space where you can set up your tents. Whether you’re a tent, van or RV camper, the campground is perfect for anyone who loves the outdoors. Being stuck indoors is boring; anyone who has been in Ontario for the past year knows. It’s now time to step outside and sleep underneath the stars. So come along with us on our trip to the Indian Line Campground.

The camp is located conveniently just 1-hour drive from downtown Toronto, and even if you are taking transit, you can arrive there in less than 2 hours. The campsite is great for biking and hiking since there are many paths and woods to explore. You can bring your pets, but they must be on a leash and kept within 2 metres at all times. There is also a children’s play area, so bring the whole family. Washrooms, swimming pools, and even a shower are available at the campground. However, their pool and splash pads are not for 2021.

If you want to make your stay even more fun, you can bring a projector so you can enjoy late-night movies with your group. Camping is an excellent way to escape the hustle and bustle of city life. Camping helps you to experience a different side of Canada, and Indian Line Camp is the perfect place to start. You can see beautiful greenery and observe friendly animals. The Indian Line Campground is the place to go if you also love clear starry nights. Who knows, you could even catch a glimpse of a meteor shower.

The camp area is also a great spot to watch the beautiful sunsets across the lake. Claireville Reservoir is a dam with a low water level, making it ideal for boating and fishing. Bring your fishing rod; you can catch different kinds of fish like a white sucker, carp and sunfish.

A bonfire and some s’mores are a must for every camping trip. The camp also offers firewoods for sale to start up your cozy evenings. If this is your first time camping, try their nightly bookings for $58.65, including hydro, water, and sewer services. Camping in Indian Line is a great summer pastime that you should not miss.
Remember to reserve your campsite ahead of time and check-in between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 9:00 p.m.
