He wants to be remembered for more than just winning fights and making cash endorsements deals; rather, he’d like people to remember him for setting positive examples for young athletes.
Khabib also named during the interview a few fighters who he would fight with but never happened, Tony Ferguson, George St.Pierre and Anthony Pettis.
Khabib Nurmagomedov also discussed his biggest life goals outside of MMA during the interview. One of these goals is to spend time with family. When being asked the question why was it important for him to honour his promise to his mom that his last fight would be UFC 254, he said “you only have one mother”. And that he keeps other promises to his mother too, but this is the one that everyone knows about. He believes in keeping a good relationship with parents.
During the last Rapid Fire Questions part, Khabib also expressed his concerns over the young generation obsessing over video games that it wastes time and kills brains. He then continues “ you can buy all the video games, but you can’t buy time”.
