Kirkwood Park is a small park located in North York. With its accessible location, this park is one of the most popular places to visit, with various stores such as Dollarama and Tim Hortons close by, just across Leslie St. The park is also near Mossgrove Park and Ames Park, and also has a recreational facility such as tennis courts, making it one of the few Toronto parks with nets up over the winter season. Whether you live in the neighbourhood or are passing by on your way to work and want to chill with a cup of coffee from Timmies while enjoying the scenery, don’t look much further than Kirkwood Park.

Things To Do

The park’s four public tennis courts are one of its primary attractions. The tennis courts are well-kept and ideal for late-night play. The park also has good clean grass spaces and benches for sitting and picnics, as well as trees for sheltering. The park also features a playground area, which is great for children, perfect for summer play. There is also a bus stop near the intersection of Leslie St and Kirkwood Rd.
Since the park doesn’t feature a lot of amenities, it’s never crowded. If you enjoy a park that is calm and not busy and offers a clean environment to relax, Kirkwood Park is the place to go.
