Le Gourmand, from its name alone, you can already tell this is not your average bakery in Toronto. Located in the fashion district on Queen St W and Spadina, you will find the world-famous chocolate chip cookie that is only available here. Since its first location opened in 2002, they have been perfecting this cookie recipe for over 18 years.

The vibe we got when we first stepped into this cafe/bakery is that it’s quite reminiscent of that of an antique bookstore. The wooden book shelving, flooring, and furnishing make you want to just grab a cup of coffee and enjoy a good book. They also have a nice patio area, where you can bask in the sunlight as you enjoy one of their freshly baked pastries.
