Nimman Thai is a modern Thai restaurant that serves authentic Thai cuisine in a comfy and polished setting. Located in the Seaway Plaza of Etobicoke, this is the place to be for traditional Thai classics such as seafood, noodles, and various curries. Their food is so delicious that they have been featured in the Toronto Star.

Yelp/Ray Chau
Nimman offers a cozy dining atmosphere with a modern design and bright yellow walls. Their restaurant is decorated with pictures of Thai people and landmarks. The place is not very large, but it offers a fairly comfortable dining experience. They have cute table decorations and even some plants on their tables!

Yelp/ Lily W.
The menu has all the Thai staples that we know and love curries, noodle dishes, seafood items, etc. They also have lunch specials ($12.95 – $14.95) which come with hot and sour soup, salad, a spring roll – available 11 am – 3 pm every day (including holidays).
A great dish to share as a group is the appetizer platter. It is a fairly large dish with a great variety of appetizers, including spring rolls, fried won ton, satay chicken skewers, and garden rolls.

You can’t really go wrong with the Basil Fried Rice ($14.95-17.95) here. It’s delicious, spicy, and full of flavour. This dish is prepared with rice stir-fried in holy basil sauce with shrimp. The mix-ins version contains shrimp, fresh chillies, garlic, green onion and lime as garnish. Make sure to order this if you are a big fan of basil!

Another signature dish is the Pad Thai Hor Kai ($17.95), a stir-fried noodle dish with shrimp, crabmeat, and other goodies all wrapped up in an omelette. This is a great dish for those who are looking for more of an “authentic” Thai noodle experience.

Lastly, for dessert, you can’t miss their Ninman Parfait ($10.95). The parfait is layered with the daily Thai dessert, sticky rice, and ice cream. This dessert changes every day, but is always filled with deliciousness!
If you are looking for something more than your standard Thai food then Nimman is the place for you. This cute little restaurant serves up traditional Thai food with a modern twist that is very tasty and unique! Definitely worth a visit if you are ever in Etobicoke,
