Ramsden Park is one of Toronto’s most beautiful parks. We’ve all been cooped up at home for the past months and it’s time for some fresh air and outdoor activities. Ramsden Park should be at the top of your list if you enjoy playing sports while being surrounded by gorgeous trees and green spaces. The park features basketball and tennis courts, walking paths, and a variety of other activities. If you don’t live in the area, the park is conveniently located near the Rosedale subway station and a bus stop on Yonge Street.

Things To Do

Ramsden Park is a popular park for playing basketball. The park features two basketball courts that are clean and suitable for both children and adults. The park also has tennis courts, which are popular among visitors since you can play for extended periods of time.
The park offers several grassy areas perfect for picnics as well as splash pads suitable for young and older children to play on. Children can play in a safe playground since the ground is constructed of cork, making it safer for them to play. Other park amenities include a baseball diamond and an outdoor hockey area.
A picnic on the clean grassy fields is one of the nicest things you can do at the park. The park looks and feels more natural, compared to modern parks with extensive infrastructure. The park has seats, picnic tables, and plenty of covered spaces for picnics, yoga, and meditation, all of which are ideal ways to spend a relaxing day.
The park is also beautiful in the fall when the ground is covered in colourful fall leaves, perfect for photoshoots. If you have never visited the park during the spring season, you should consider it. The cherry blossoms in the park add a beautiful touch to the area. It’s a treat for the eyes you don’t want to miss.
Ramsden Park features a well-kept dog park where you can take your dog for a fun play day and meet other doggies and fun people. Your dogs are welcome to run free in this area from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. every day of the week.
