The interior of this restaurant offers a lively vibrancy, as the exposed brick walls are decorated with traditional Indian paintings and tapestries. A long bar stretches across the back of the restaurant, gesturing to its ability to serve alcohol, which is uncommon in most Indian restaurants. There is a small but tasteful area in the front of the restaurant for some quiet dining -there are only a few tables here though.

The menu at Sher-E-Punjab provides a variety of vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. Despite the vast array of items available, there are many recurring favourites amongst loyal customers. Some popular choices include the Tandoori Paneer Tikka, Samosa Chaat, and Butter Chicken!
It’s hard to resist not ordering the Butter Chicken ($14) at any Indian restaurant, and Sher-E-Punjab is no exception. This is a Northern-Indian curry cooked in a tomato sauce and comes with a side of rice or naan. The meat is marinated overnight and then grilled to perfection. It has just the right amount of spice while not being overbearing at all.

For the side order, the Seekh kebab ($9) or Paneer Tikka ($13) are delicious choices. The skewers of meat are glazed with a special blend of spices and cooked in a tandoor oven to seal in the flavour. They can be served as an appetizer or as a side order – they also come with a side of salad.

The Palak Paneer ($13) is a popular vegetarian option if you’re looking to stay away from meat. This dish consists of a blend of spinach and homemade cheese cubes cooked in a delicate cream sauce. It goes great with a variety of bread including garlic naan, butter naan, roti, paratha or aloo kulcha bread.
The menu at Sher-E-Punjab is extensive, so if these dishes have piqued your interest you should visit the restaurant to explore further!
