Lekker is a restaurant that presents a unique story of how it was founded. The Belgian owner, Cristophe Stevens first visited Toronto in 2010 and he embraced the city. Then, five years later he returned, but this time he decided to move to Toronto and open his own waffle bar “Wafels & More” in Kensington Market.
Now he has been using his grandmother’s secret waffle recipes and providing his customers with great tasting Belgian-style waffles.
His menu allows customers to choose from ten different waffle styles including Banana, Cookies & Cream, Tutti Frutti and Dame Blanche. Evviva was started in 2010 where they focus on high quality food serving breakfast, lunch and an amazing brunch experience. They are located close to the convention centre, aquarium, CN Tower and many more of Toronto’s tourist attractions.
What’s unique about Evviva is that they have a vegan menu. Especially the vegan maple waffle which is a soft, fluffy waffle served with fresh strawberries, blueberries, bananas, coconut whipped cream, and pure Canadian maple syrup.
Additionally, you have a choice of adding beyond meat sausage patty and crispy soy bacon with additional cost.
