Located on College St near Kensington Market, The Hogtown Vegan is a classic amongst downtown locals for southern-style vegan comfort food. This is the spot to be if you want to pig out and enjoy some of the best vegan foods Toronto has to offer.

It may look small and unassuming from the outside, but don’t let the storefront fool you. Inside you will find a beautifully decorated rustic interior with wooden flooring and countertops, as well as brick accents along with daring indigo-painted walls. There is ample seating space inside the restaurant, as well as a nice patio area outside.

Their menu features southern classics like fried chicken, chili cheese fries, tacos, and more which is 100% vegan. Their Mac ‘m Cheez is simply delicious as it’s baked and topped with herbed breadcrumbs with additional options like gluten-free pasta ($2), mac supremacy ($2), soy pork party ($4), and spicy unchicken ($5). Their Mac’m Cheeze is so good that you’ll forget it’s even vegan.
This whole vegan eatery is the place to be for a nice weekend brunch with friends and family (plus they even have beers on tap).
